Grief Education

Claire has provided grief education and training in various learning environments including Social Work and Midwifery students at Massey University, Nursing and Paramedic students at Whitirea, Capital & Coast Health Social Workers, NZ Police and Victim Support.

Grief education and training programmes are tailored to the needs of your particular organisation: those working or studying in the health professions, emergency response, learning institutions, community groups and organisations and workplaces.

Particular careers increase the likelihood of encountering trauma, accident, illness and death. If you have already experienced this in the course of your work, you will have an understanding of what some people go through and the impact on them, those around them and yourself. Specific training on these subjects is crucial for good self-management and doing the best job you can for others.  It will improve your practice.
